Ensuring a great NDIS experience

Your NDIS Experience can be awesome! You just have to have the right pieces of the puzzle and someone who knows how to make them all fit or can bring together the people who do!

That is right, finding a trusted partner in care is an essential ingredient to getting the best out of your plan and supports. With so many options this can be overwhelming and tricky at the best of times. One way to find out who is who, is to do a little bit of research into the organisation, qualifications of the team and management team. With the right know how and expertise you will find not only a competent team but a caring team.  Not sure where to start exactly? Not to worry, there are plenty of organisations that can assist you!

Just a couple to get you started –

• National Disability Services can be found at www.nds.org.au and they are a peak body separate to the NDIS, however they focus on professionalism in the industry and there to assist and educate.
• You may or may not be working with a Support Coordinator, either way, many Support Coordinators love to assist with recommendations and have lived experiences with different providers and can give honest feedback as well as choices to find the best fit provider for you. Check out Google for a registered Support Coordinator in your area.
